Introduction
The following Data Protection statement sets out how Meath Farm Machinery Limited collects, processes and stores personal information. It also sets out your rights as a ‘Data Subject’, in relation to personal information collected by Meath Farm Machinery Limited. In our statement we us the terms “you” and “your” to refer to the data subject i.e. the person or business whose data we have collected. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” used refers to Meath Farm Machinery Limited.

- Data must be kept for a minimum of 6 years to comply with Company Law and Revenue requirements. After this period, if requested, data can be deleted unless for any other legal reason, we are not permitted to.
- Security, Integrity and Confidentiality
- Data collected is held in secure environments throughout the business and integrity and confidentiality of data is maintained. Your data will only be shared with third parties, if it is essential to the completion of the business transaction or we have your permission to do so.

- It is our responsibility to be compliant with GDPR EU regulations and ensure all data collected is handled in accordance with these regulations and own policies and procedures.
What are Your Rights
If we collect your personal data, you have specific rights as to how we collect, process, share and store your data. These rights include:
- The Right to be Informed
- You have the right to know what data is being collected and how, why, and who is collecting and processing your data. You have the right to know how long your data will be kept, who it will be shared with and how to file a complaint, if required.

- You have the right to submit a ‘Subject Access Request’ with us to get a copy of what personal data we hold on file for you. This request can be submitted to info@meathfarmmachinery.com. We must respond to your request within 30 days.
- The Right to Rectification
- If the data we have for you is inaccurate or incorrect you have the right to request for this information to be updated or corrected.
- The Right to be Forgotten
- You have the right to request for your data to be deleted or erased if it is no longer required, it is incorrect or consent has been withdrawn. However, not all requested for erasure can be actioned, for example, where it is in the public interest or there are legal obligations imposed on us. - The Right to Restrict Processing
- You can request for us to restrict the processing of your data. This would only be allowed where the data is inaccurate or where processing your data would be unlawful.

- You have the right to request a copy of your data (see Right to Access). This includes having it in a format that is easily moved, copied or transferred in a secure way.
- The Right to Object
- You have the right to object to the processing of at any time, but it will depend on the purpose and legal base for processing your data. For example, direct marketing.
- Rights in Relation to Automated Decision Making and Profiling
- You have the right not to be subject to automated decision making if the results would have a significant impact on you, for example, profiling, unless it is required by law or to fulfil the performance of a contract.
Sharing of Data
As an Agricultural Machinery Dealership, we are required to share certain data with our third-party suppliers in order to conduct business with you and fulfil any service requirements agreed.
